Smile

Smile as broad as the sky
As narrow as the needle’s eye
That gauche, phony smile
Beautiful, truthful smile
Smile for no cause, and
Smile in that reason

Smiles a smile
And that smile always
Manages to steal my heart
No matter my mood swings
And leave a smile in its place

Smile is more than just smile
Thief it is, a healer,
Somebody’s day, reason
To be there it is,

Remind me pains of hell,
Yet gives hope of heaven
A painful hope it stands

 Magic silver mirror it is
Who reflects heart’s content

Never lose that smile for anybody

Darkness

Darkness necessary be evil?
For everyone is equal by darkness
No one more or less
No one beautiful or ugly
Shows what light hides, only in it
The true beauty of stars be seen

Light seen as truth but it lies
Darkness stands for lie yet shows truth

Darkness opens adventures within
A ground for unconscious to play
Beautiful nightmare it creates
And by it guides the conscious
Who in light walks blind and deaf

Darkness is where love is born
Seed sowed for new generation
And creation of life stands
No lower than God’s deed

Smile

Smile as broad as the sky
As narrow as the needle’s eye
That gauche, phony smile
Beautiful, truthful smile
Smile for no cause, and
Smile in that reason

Smiles a smile
And that smile always
Manages to steal my heart
No matter my mood swings
And leave a smile in its place

Smile is more than just smile
Thief it is, a healer,
Somebody’s day, reason
To be there it is,

Remind me pains of hell,
Yet gives hope of heaven
A painful hope it stands

 Magic silver mirror it is
Who reflects heart’s content

So never lose that smile for anybody
Live ordinary
Been to heaven and back,
Been to hell and back
Now I just want to live here
As ordinary as possible
No demands for more
No less than what I deserve

Be the fire

The power of destruction it holds
Consumes whatever comes in the way
Doesn’t know to hold back
It itself is the greatest weapon discovered
Direct descendant of lightning bolt it is said
Only a small spark needed to create it
Ignition of any kind to start it
And a massive result it shows

Yet it is a beautiful creation like no other
From blue to red to orange
Creates the wonder of fireworks
It glows bright illuminates the path
Gives gentle warmth to any seeker

Gives birth to the strong will
When in verge of breaking down

Be the fire
And a fire it is

Unusual teacher

Sitting alone in the room
Nothing to do
Yet so many thing to be completed
Filling the room with boredom
And the sound of the silence

Suddenly my mind is diverted
Pulled to a usual sight
In an unusual mood
From the window pane
I could see two dogs growling at each other
One pale brown, ears stretched, tail held high
Eyes on the other goes “Grrr….”
“Woof, woof” replies the night black
With flapping ears, curved tail, high in the air
The two ready for a vicious battle
Ready to tear down the other to bits
Growling at each other in an unusual voice

Curiosity filled me to the top
(What are these dogs fighting for?)
I looked carefully and inspected
But couldn’t see any prize
No scrapes, no bones, nothing
Neither the place their territory
As I have not seen them here before
I was confused
Couldn’t figure out their problem
My mind began to wonder
Why these dogs were growling at each other
As I was trying to fit the puzzle
The two dogs simply stopped growling
And went in opposite direction, without fighting
The two acted as if nothing happened
They took few steps ahead and looked back
Stared at each other and went their way

The battle to happen became a mystery
And I was lost in it
Maybe they thought no point in fighting
Over nothing, no prize
Hour on hour passed by
And the sun was already behind the mountain
The mystery still lingered around
The room now was filled with puzzles
The jig-saw needed to be put together

I sat at my table and holed a pen
Nothing came to mind
I thought that was nothing and was about to give up
When my mind was struck
I remembered what my professor said in the class
“You constantly need to sharpen your knife.”
That’s what the dogs might have done
Though no prize, the dogs needed to show
Each other how vicious they are
To build allies or to scare the others
Just for the future
The future either of them has not seen
Yet hopes for

They were building their hopes
Base for living life

My mind was finally at peace
And I learned hope
I am happy that the dogs taught me ‘Hope’
Which I have forgotten for a while.

Dear Rose

The charm of the garden you stand
You bloom bright among the color
Without you in it
Suddenly it loses its entire splendor

I forget all other worldly interests
When your beautiful leaves sway
Your beauty magnetize my glance
I never want to look away

Even the dews dance
When that red reflects the ray
You become the source of passion
Inspire like no other array

The sharp thorns stand in pride
Making it difficult for others to assault
The meaning and purpose of life
Just your existence has taught.

sunset

Grazing the bright sun
hiding behind the lines of mountains
Blue sky to the orangeish horizon
Silver clouds to the grayish formations
Satisfy the hunger of the eyes
Quench the thirst of the ears
